How does spray tanning work?
At Zoom Tan we only use spray tan equipment that is by far the best available. This brand-new technology not only applies perfect natural color every time, but it also dries the user. We use only the highest quality solution, so your results are perfect every time.

What do I need to wear?
Nothing, because you're sprayed by a machine and you have your own private room. Unlike other systems where someone must awkwardly hand-spray you, the machine does all of the work and you are in a private room from start to finish. If you choose, you may wear undergarments as the tanning solution easily washes off clothing.

How long does it take?
The application of the bronzing solution lasts 45 seconds and the total time, including the drying passes, is under 2 ½ minutes.

How long will it last?
One application is usually good for 5-10 days depending on how often you exfoliate and moisturize your skin.

Do I need to do anything special before getting a spray tan?
For best results you should exfoliate your skin before getting a spray tan. After your spray session, do not exfoliate your skin until you are ready for another session. Using a good moisturizer will also pro-long your tan.

I am worried about being streaky or turning orange.
Because of horror stories about older spray tan equipment and cheap solution, many people are afraid to get a spray tan because they fear they will turn orange or have streaks. Zoom Tan is different because of the integrated drying system and super fine mist that prevents any streaking. When you step out of the machine you will be completely dry and ready to go on with your day. Our tanning solution is made of all natural ingredients and does not have the bad odor associated with many other sunless products. Because of this there is no reason to plan your day around your spray tan. In fact, many of our clients use our spray tan on their lunch breaks!

Our tanning salons use electronic ballasts which are 30% more efficient than traditional designs. So, when you tan at a Zoom Tan tanning salon you use 30% less electricity when compared to the tanning beds used at other tanning salons, meaning less fuel is required to generate that electricity. Tanning at a Zoom Tan tanning salon means you can rest assured that you are enjoying a greener tan that creates a smaller carbon footprint than those older tanning bed designs.
